Principal | Director of Development
As Director of Development for Viridian, Mr. Zitek is responsible for acquisition, entitlement, development, and disposition of the company’s operations.
Mr. Zitek excels in managing complex transactions and finding creative solutions that benefit all stakeholders. He has nearly 20 years of development experience developing office, flex, industrial, and mixed-use valued in excess of $1B. Prior to joining Viridian Partners in 2008, Mr. Zitek worked for Panattoni Development Company, developing and managing speculative and build-to-suit industrial and office projects in Colorado and the surrounding region. Mr. Zitek began his career with the O’Connor Group, a boutique industrial, office, retail, and mixed-use developer in Boulder, Colorado.
Outside career interests of Mr. Zitek include involvement with the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Special Olympics of Colorado, and the National Sports Center for the Disabled.
Principal | Director of Capital Markets
Joe recently joined Viridian as Director of Capital Markets after managing the Viridian relationship with our capital partner, Real Capital Solutions as Vice President of Acquisitions. He is responsible for sourcing new opportunities and maintaining our capital markets relationships. With nearly thirty years in the real estate industry, including time at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, CMD Realty Investors, the FDIC, and Real Capital Solutions, Joe has extensive capital markets experience including structing of joint ventures and roles in acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio management.
Mr. Bowar has been responsible for $5 billion in transactions throughout his career including a $1 billion, 10-month disposition and liquidation of an expansive office portfolio in 2007.
Mr. Bowar has an MS in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. A Gulf War veteran, he is retired from the U.S. Navy Reserve.
Principal | Director of Construction
In his role as Director of Construction for Viridian Partners, Mr. Ganch manages acquisition due diligence as well as the development and implementation of project objectives involving entitlement approvals, budget, schedule and quality control.
Mr. Ganch has over 28 years of commercial real estate experience including 10 years with LaSalle Partners / Jones Lang LaSalle’s development services group where he managed a wide array of development projects for corporations, institutions and investors. Prior to joining Viridian Partners in 2007, Mr. Ganch spent four years managing his own development consulting company, Vertical Strategies, where his primary focus was on land acquisition and repositioning assignments for private investors.
During his career, Mr. Ganch has successfully completed over 100 construction projects with total value in excess of $2 billion inclusive of office, retail, industrial, transportation, institutional, hotel and residential developments.
Principal | Director of Development
Mr. Cahn’s diverse real estate experience spans over 40 years leading to his current role of Development Director for Viridian’s Eastern Region, responsible for the acquisition, entitlement, development and disposition of all the company’s operations for the eastern half of the country.
The scope of Mr. Cahn’s commercial real estate experience includes 15 million square feet of developing, brokering, operating and owning office, flex and industrial properties across the continental United States. He is recognized for collaborating with local communities to evolve, entitle and develop multi-phase business parks and mixed-use campuses.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Cahn has worked for regional and international brokerage, development and institutional investors including The Galbreath Company, CBRE, ORIX Real Estate Equities, and JMB Properties Company.
Chief Financial Officer
Paul Schubert serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer for Viridian Partners. As CFO, he oversees the Company’s financial reporting, strategic planning, budgeting and statutory compliance. As CFO, he also oversees all aspects of financial reporting and accounting for all subsidiaries and joint ventures. Mr. Schubert has served as CFO since December 2012.
Prior to joining Viridian, Mr. Schubert has served in senior financial management positions with residential homebuilders and commercial real estate firms involved with institutional property management, leasing and development. Mr. Schubert began his career with Deloitte & Touche and has had his own public accounting practice.
Senior Associate
Scott recently joined Viridian as a Senior Associate and is responsible for supporting new and existing initiatives across the country related to acquisitions, entitlements, development, and dispositions.
Mr. McDonald has ten years of experience in the real estate industry, including time with Real Capital Analytics (RCA), Real Capital Solutions (RCS), Broe Real Estate Group and most recently Greystar. During his career he has focused on diverse and complex transactions related to existing assets and ground up development projects with a focus on office and industrial product types with a total value in excess of $200 Million.
Scott received an MS in Real Estate Finance & Development from the University of Denver and a BA in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
